Formed in 1973, the Comm Team is part of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) Office of Emergency Services (OES). Other volunteer units of OES include:

• Search and Rescue (SAR)

• Air Squadron

• Reserve Deputies

• Mounted Posse

• Dive Team
